A very thought provoking read. That's obviously judgment on my part. But there's no other way to say it.

I enjoyed the book. While I found some truths in the book, I cannot say that I am in total agreement. We are made by god and for god. He is the only "infinite I".
There is indeed good and evil. I think you are on a path that may show you how to integrate this with a truer understanding of how and why we came to be.
Wishing you peace on your continuing journey.

While this book correlated with much of my experience and observation one question remained that places this theory in a similar category with Buddhism – to suppose that that my child is a figment of my hologram and I am to have no attachment to her wellbeing does not ring true to me. When I look at my ego I can see the desire to be a good mother as a construct, however the question remains – how is detaching from the experience my child even possible or desirable purely from a biological standpoint? As the monk escapes reality through mediation and never procreating – this too seems like just another map to that place of peace and “abundance” all those people in the back of the theatre want to get to. To divide life up into sections in the direction of getting from suffering to peace just seems like more of the same. Like someone stated earlier love is still the opposite of hate. I see suffering as something of value because it measures love – helps us see it, not as something to be escaped. Perhaps it is the limitation of the human language, but this book seems to contradict itself in the same way it points out contradictions in other theories. There is nothing to do, but destroy the ego in order to go from here to there. No matter how you slice it you are still doing, i.e. controlling and producing a desired outcome by getting to the Pacific, or escape from suffering.

Butterflies Are Free To Fly is indeed a GREAT book, as is Jed McKenna books. What I get out of this book is that our Infinite I cannot experience feelings and is using us - as a creation to feed back the feelings that our Infinite I wishes to experience. This can be altered by us, after we let our Infinite I know that we are aware it is there directing our life and we will not respond any longer to situations that our Infinite I places us in to feel FEELINGS that we do not wish to experience. Let your Infinite I know what FEELINGS you wish to experience and when recieving those FEELINGS let the full experience flow through you back to your Infinite I. This will not always work, as after all you are not driving the bus.....only looking out one of the windows. Once you understand that nothing is REAL and there is no right or wrong to ANYTHING.....only what your Infinite I wants.....your life will become ever more clear! Think about it after reading this GREAT book SEVERAL TIMES from front to back cover.....It will enlighten you and you will never look at your percieved life the same way again. I hope that I will meet with you all after I become a butterfly.......if that realy matters after the transformation. Peace afer acceptance....David.

Pt2: If the goal of this is to be in a place that gives us total abundance, and love, then we are still limited, since we have to know the opposite of these to appreciate it. We could only experience these things if we held back alittle of our ego, to be Human Adults, and kind of play the system to our own advantage, living the high life as it were.
So with that, is the message of the book to go most of the way there, to almost break out of the cocoon, just so we can still serve our ego, and experience only the pleasurable emotions we want, but with no regrets? Otherwise, how can we discuss trying to shed limitiation to reach a state of.. limitation?
Any insight on to more thoughts of this would be most appreciated, as this was the biggest point I though wasn't addressed through everything.

I've read through this all, and I have found many common threads that I have already realized on my own. It has been an insightful read to be sure, and has raised many questions for me. But above all, the biggest question that I have, that begs to be answered is this.
How can we experience what you call infinite love and total abundance, if the very concept of love is based in duality? You cannot have love without hate. It's that simple. How I am ever to experience infinite love, if I'm supposed to live without limitation? This is really the biggest problem I have with this whole concept.
If I'm supposed to be able to let go off my beliefs, opinions, doubts, etc. To basically become an empty vessel to experience this reality, only living in the moment. To become the no self. To become nothing, then how am I to experience abundance (the opposite of scarce), infinite love (the opposite of hate)? I can't.

Sorry I made a mistake. The guru "Mooji" is neo-Advaita and not New Age. Neo-Advaita is a New Age version of Advaita Vedenta which supports Non-dualism.
